Ukraine and the Hungarian Foreign Ministry signed a memorandum on liberalization of visa regime for Ukraine. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Konstantyn Gryshchenko said it at a briefing after meeting with Foreign Minister of Hungary.
 
"It is gratifying to note the strengthening of our economic relations, as well as the trade increase between our countries. Over the past year, our joint teams, in particular, on economic cooperation between Ukraine and Hungary, have stepped up their work. So, today has been signed an action plan between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and Hungary for 2012-2013. We return thanks Hungary for the support of our Eurointegrational aspirations, so we have signed a memorandum of understanding for visa liberalization with the EU for Ukraine", - said the Minister.
 
Gryshchenko also added: "We discussed issues of human rights and cultural freedoms of Hungarian minorities in Ukraine. In general, this visit is a very important step for the development of our relations".
