Car sales in Ukraine have grown. Experts say this is due to the surmounting the crisis.

In January, 2012 Ukrainians bought 12,281 passenger cars, or 24% more than a year ago (new autos), Ukrautoprom Association press service reported. But it is much less than in December, 2011 - there were about 25,000 (it was the post-crisis record sales of cars).

Director General of the All-Ukrainian Association of Automobile Importers and Dealers Oleh Nazarenko explains the sales growth for the year with the country's overcoming from the economic crisis and increase of car loan buying. A decline compared to December is due to the fact that in January, people traditionally spend more money on leisure and holidays than on the "wheel". The leader in January is the South Korean "Hyundai" (9.5%, or more than 1200 pcs.), the 2nd is Russian VAZ (Volga Automobile Plant) (1,100 pcs.) and the 3d - ZAZ (Zaporizhia Automobile Plant).
