Arrest Is Not "Threatened" Tymoshenko Until She Visits The Prosecutor General's Office Every Day
Until former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko will appeare to the Prosecutor General, she doesn't have to fear of arrest. It was commented in the Main Investigation Department of the General Prosecutor's Office on the words of ex-premier and leader of BYuT after another visit of this Office. The GPO has decided to summon her ever day to limit her visits to the regions and communication with people.
"In the processual status of Tymoshenko, accused of unlawful misuse of funds under the Kyoto Protocol, nothing has changed, - says one member of the investigative team. - According to Article 151 of the Criminal Procedure Code, she is on her own recognizance, which gives the right to leave the place of residence only in agreement with the investigator. Yuliya Tymoshenko conscientiously appears for questioning, and to modify the arrest subscriptions is not necessary. But if she goes somewhere without getting permission of the investigator, Sche will violate the law, and can be taken into custody. But what Tymoshenko says before and after the questionings is a show for the townsfolk.
We remind that on December 15, 2010 The Prosecutor General's Office initiated a criminal case against Yulia Tymoshenko upon unlawful diversion of funds, received by Ukraine within the framework of the Kyoto Protocol.
The leader of BYuT was brought a charge on that she, acting intentionally, out of a personal interest, made a decision on use of part of the money received from the quota sales for greenhouse gas emissions, which had designated purpose to cover the expenses of the State Budget of Ukraine, especially the pension payments.
