Ukraine intends to enter "the ancient ruins of Chersonese, 4 century BC - 12 century" into the register of UNESCO World Heritage List.
The issue was discussed in Paris at a meeting of the Ukrainian delegation headed by Minister of Culture of Ukraine, Mikhail Kulinyak with UNESCO General Director Irina Bokovaya, and with Assistant-Director General for Culture Director of the World Heritage Centre, Franchesko Bandarin.
"They discussed the preparation of the nomination dossier about the registration of "Ruins of the ancient city of Chersonese, 4 century BC - 12 century" in the UNESCO World Heritage List," - said in a statement.
