Ukraine wants visa-free regime with Turkey

Director of information policy department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Oleg Voloshin said that Ukraine activelly negotiates with the non-member states of Schengen for establish a visa-free regime with them, especially with Turkey.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs representative said that during incomplete nine months of the visa-free regime between Ukraine and Israel, the number of Ukrainians, visited Israel doubled.

"And this is despite the fact that we have not reached Christmas festivities, when pilgrimage tourism will increase the number of Ukrainians who visit Israel. It is really important, so we will promote our dialogue with the EU..." - Voloshin said.
According to him, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry will intensify negotiations on this issue with Turkey. Also, according to Voloshin, Deputy Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin during a visit to Washington raised the issue of visa liberalization with the United States.
