Tymoshenko's Husband Starts a European Campaign to Release his Wife
Olexander Tymoshenko, who had received international protection of the Czech government, is starting a European campaign to release Yulia Tymoshenko.
Former Economy Minister in Yulia Tymoshenko's government Bohdan Danylyshyn, who also received political asylum, is going to assist him in this campaign. The head of the campaign will be the daughter of the imprisoned Ex-Prime Minister, Eugenia. This is reported by the official website of Tymoshenko.
Olexander Tymoshenko, Eugenia Timoshenko and Bohdan Danylyshyn are planning to collaborate with many organizations in the Czech Republic and Europe. Their goals are not just to make the Ukrainian authorities release Yulia Tymoshenko, but also to strengthen the opposition circles to fight against Viktor Yanukovych.
In December 2011 in Prague (Czech Republic), Olexander Tymoshenko filed for the registration of International Public Organization "Batkivshchyna".
Yulia Tymoshenko's husband explains that the main objectives of the organization's work is to analyze the actions of the current authorities and their criminal activities on robbing Ukraine, to cover the activities of Yanukovych's government in foreign media, to regularly monitor the observance of human rights and freedoms of citizens, as well as the principles of democracy in Ukraine, to promote finding new ways of cooperation of Ukrainians living in different countries among themselves and with Ukraine, as well as close cooperation with the Ukrainian diaspora.
