Russia banned the import of Ukrainian cheese
The head of Rospotrebnadzor Gennady Onishchenko said that this week Russia will ban imports of cheese products of some Ukrainian producers.
"The authorities of Ukraine after the talks with us has done no proposals to normalize the situation that makes us, starting next week to begin the extraction and the prohibition of the supply of some manufacturers to the Russian Federation, the appropriate instructions will be given to the customs authorities", - said the official.
Rospotrebnadzor continues to study the situation regarding the supply of certain types of dairy products from Ukraine to Russia.
Thus, in the Oryol oblast, according to him, the discrepancy found in the samples of cheese "Russian" produced by Pyriatynskiy Cheese Factory (Poltava region).
According to him, in the Krasnodar region 20 samples fail to meet the requirements of product contents.
