Ukraine and Romania have identified in 2012 quota permits for motor carriers in an amount of 14.6 thousand permits for freight and passenger transport on the territory of Ukraine and Romania.

According to Ministry of infrastructure, this agreement was reached on the results of the meeting of the Joint Ukrainian-Romanian commission on international road transport.

In particular, the Ukrainian party was allocated 12 thousand universal permits (bilateral and transit), the Romanian - 12.4 thousand universal permits.

Also Ukrainian carriers get 1000 permits for non-scheduled passenger transportation, the Romanian - 600 of these permits.

Also, the Romanian side will provide Ukrainian carriers additional 1000  permits for transhipment.

In the second half of 2012 will set the final quota permits for road transport.
